THE BRIEF:

Working for Hannah Phillips, now Artrix Bromsgrove's Director we were commissioned to provide "an Innovative lighting design which transforms the space and enhances the style of performance." for her show The Sext Generation.

In Hannah's words : "I involve Chris from an early stage because he is full of ideas which he gives for free and always develops the performance work. He gives technical advice and support from the onset of a project until it finishes. acquismedia have a full understanding of every aspect of production and the creative making process. They are flexible, versatile and always deliver innovative design and digital solutions." 

Sext Generation was an incredibly powerful, devised show hosted at The Drum, Birmingham, that explored teenagers current exposure to pornography and the effect that it has on their own willingness to share images on the Internet. Set in a strip club, the audience were surrounded on all sides by performance and with a sell out 10 day run to secondary school groups, the lighting design had to be emotive and attention grabbing.
